No Forking Way–’The Good Place’ Is Coming Back For Season 3!

NBC is bringing back hit comedy series The Good Place for a third season. As with the first and second seasons, Season 3 will consist of 13 episodes.

From executive producer and creator Michael Schur, The Good Place stars Ted Danson, Kristen Bell, William Jackson Harper, Jameela Jamil, Manny Jacinto and D’Arcy Carden. In addition to executive producing, Schur serves as writer and showrunner. David Miner, Morgan Sackett and Drew Goddard also executive produce. The Good Place is produced by Universal Television, Fremulon and 3 Arts Entertainment.

The series received a straight-to-series order in 2015 and has been praised by critics, and boosted by solid ratings.

So far this season, The Good Place is averaging a 2.0 rating in adults 18-49 and 6.2 million viewers overall in Live + 7 day. The show grows to a 2.60 in 18-49 when projected alternate-platform viewing is added in.

The Good Place joins This Is Us and Will & Grace as early renewals for NBC’s 2018-19 schedule. It returns this season on Thursday, January 4 at 8:30 PM.
