‘The Wine Show’ Season 2 Is On Hulu — And It’s Still The Best

The Wine Show is perhaps Hulu’s most underrated gem. The gorgeous series takes charming British actors like Matthew Goode and Matthew Rhys and then drops them in Europe to tour vineyards and test wine. There are hi-tech gadgets, tons of fine food, and multiple trips to the world’s best wine cellars. It’s basically an incredible escape that happens to be educational, too. Oh, and if you tweet at the show’s handle, one of its stalwart hosts will likely tweet back at you.

The great news is Season Two of The Wine Show has finally hit Hulu. The series is as vibrant as ever, but Season Two comes with a few tweaks. Namely, Matthew Rhys will not be hitting the road with Matthew Goode this season. That’s James Purefoy‘s job this time around. Since last season took us all over Italy, this year will bring us to the legendary vineyards of France. But never fear, Americans stans, Matthew Rhys still pops up. He and Joe Fattorini are touring London for the coolest gadgets literally on the market. The other big change? The size of the season. Season One was 13 episodes long, while this new one is a scant 7. I would be quite put out by this, but the new season has the same astronomically high level of quality that Season One did.

So pour yourself a glass of California Pinot Noir and get streaming. Trust me. You’ll enjoy it.
