UPDATE (5/23/18 10:50 p.m. ET): Part 5 of The Ranch will premiere on Netflix on June 15, 2018.
After a six month absence, The Ranch has finally returned to Netflix with all new episodes. The most passionate fans of Ashton Kutcher’s multi-cam comedy have already devoured the latest batch of episodes, leaving them with one very important question: When can we expect to see Part 5 of The Ranch on Netflix?
Great question! First, we need to make sure we’re all on the same page. Each season of The Ranch consists of two ten-episode installments (referred to as “parts”). For instance, the latest batch of episodes have been referred to as Season 2 Part 2, Season 4, and Part 4. The upcoming season has been referred to as Season 3 Part 1, Part 5, and Season 5. Technically, the newest episodes that dropped on Friday, December 15th are Part 4 (the second half of Season 2).
To avoid confusion, we’re just going to refer to the upcoming season as Part 5. Get it? Got it? Good. Here’s our best guess at when you can expect to see The Ranch Part 5 on Netflix!

HAS THE RANCH BEEN RENEWED FOR SEASON 3?
You bet! Last July, Netflix announced that the show had been renewed for 20 more episodes.
WILL DANNY MASTERSON APPEAR IN PART 5 OF THE RANCH?
Yes. Amidst a swirl of sexual assault allegations (detailed here), Masterson was fired from the Netflix series in early December — as production was wrapping on the first 10 episodes of the 20-episode third season. Masterson will be featured in the first half of Season 3 (Part 5) but will be written out of the series for future installments.
WHEN DOES THE RANCH PART 5 COME OUT?
UPDATE (5/23/18 10:50 p.m. ET): Part 5 of The Ranch will premiere on Netflix on June 15, 2018.
It’s a bit too early for Netflix to announce an exact premiere date, but we generally have a pretty good idea of when new episodes are set to drop. First, let’s take a look at the premiere dates for the first four installments:
Season 1 Part 1 premiered on April 1, 2016.
Season 1 Part 2 premiered on October 7, 2016.
Season 2 Part 3 premiered on June 16, 2017.
Season 2 Part 4 premiered on December 15, 2017.
Netflix already announced that new episodes would drop in 2018. Based on previous release dates, we’d expect to see new episodes premiere in the summer of 2018. Our best guess would be late June or early July. Decider will update this story as it develops.
