Hulu Snags Streaming Rights To ‘One Tree Hill,’ ‘Living Single,’ And ‘Everwood’

At this point, it seems like Hulu is on a mission to snatch up the streaming right to not only every show Netflix loses, but every show period. Starting on February 1st, their already expansive library will grow by three as WB primetime soaps One Tree Hill and Everwood and ’90s sitcom Living Single will join the service on February 1.

The announcement comes via Buzzfeed, who reported that the three shows are part of a new deal Hulu has with Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution. The deal will bring all nine seasons of One Tree Hill to Hulu, following its disappearance from Netflix late last year. Fans have been outraged by the show’s departure, starting almost a dozen Change.org petitions to bring it back (one has almost 4,400 signatures).

Everwood and Living Single are new to the mainstream streaming game, as the former was previously only available on the CW Seed and the latter has never been available anywhere. Hulu will add Everwood’s 89 episodes and Living Single’s 118 to its library on February 1.

The sitcom Living Single starred Queen Latifah, Kim Coles, Erika Alexander, John Henton, and Kim Fields as single roommates mingling in Brooklyn. Everwood followed a family as they relocated from Manhattan to a small town in Colorado and starred Treat Williams, Emily VanCamp, Scott Wolf, and a young Chris Pratt. High school-turned-young adult drama One Tree Hill starred Chad Michael Murray, Sophia Bush, James Lafferty, and Bethany Joy Lenz (and at one point featured a dog eating a heart).
