Actress Nicole Eggert took to Twitter today to accuse her former Charles In Charge co-star and current friend of Trump Scott Baio of repeatedly molesting her when she was a minor.

The pair starred together on the show Charles In Charge, which ran from 1984 until 1990. Eggert joined the cast during the show’s second season, which began filming in 1986 when Eggert was 14 years old. It was then, she alleged via Twitter, that her inappropriate relationship with the then 26 year-old Baio began.

According to her tweets, the two maintained a sexual relationship for at least a few more years; Eggert described herself on Twitter as a “molested child.”

Baio’s wife, Renee, then took to Twitter to claim that her legal team had served Eggert with multiple cease & desist letters over the years, including one that prevented her from sharing this story on an episode of Dr. Oz.

Shortly thereafter, Baio took to Facebook Live to tell his side of the story, a 16 minute recording in which he vehemently described the allegations as “untrue.”

Throughout the Facebook Live, Baio’s wife Renee can be heard off camera (sometimes whispering, sometimes in a normal speaking voice) direction to Baio. Baio alleges that Eggert’s accusations are part of a ploy to score a reality show, but he does not dispute the fact that the two had sex. Eggert has gone on the record in the past saying that Baio took her virginity, but Baio insists that she “seduced” him when she was 18 (which would have made him 30). “Any normal, heterosexual, red-blooded American guy [would have had sex with her] … the outcome would have been the same,” he concludes.
