Jessica Biel shocked America last summer with her riveting turn as a snapped housewife in The Sinner. In only the first fifteen minutes of the unique murder mystery, Biel’s character, Cora Tannetti, goes from sitting placidly on a public beach with her husband and son to stabbing a stranger to death. Why did Cora do it? What made her snap? And what’s all this with incest theories and religious cults? Needless to say, The Sinner makes for a tense binge-watch, so can you watch it (or re-watch it) on Netflix?

Here’s the (literal distribution) deal: after The Sinner made its stateside debut on USA, it became available overseas — in big Netflix-ing nations like the United Kingdom and Brazil — in November 2017. Netflix has a lot of global deals like this, where a show might belong to a rival cable network or streaming service in North America, but will stream everywhere else in the world on Netflix. Yes! Decider got the exclusive that Season 1 of The Sinner will hit Netflix on Monday, July 2. That’s good timing for folks itching to re-watch or catch up on the first season before Season 2 of The Sinner debuts on USA on August 1.
