Yesterday, we bid farewell to John Mahoney, a character actor perhaps best known for playing Martin Crane on Frasier. Mahoney’s turns in films like Moonstruck, Say Anything…, Barton Fink, and Primal Fear, among others, cemented him as a powerful presence on screen, able to manifest the warmest man imaginable or your worst nightmare. That was just the kind of dynamic performer he was.

The 77-year-old actor’s loss inevitably left a mark on celebrities and fans alike, and many, including his former co-stars and other performers who looked up to him, took to their Twitter accounts to share emotional messages paying tribute to the late actor.
