2018 Winter Olympics Live Stream: How To Watch Curling, Snowboarding, And Luge Online On Monday, February 12

The 2018 Olympic Winter Games continue into their first full week of action! You no doubt spent more than a few hours camped out on the couch watching the Olympics over the weekend, but now you have to deal with your workweek schedule in addition to the time difference. What ever will you do?

Well, you could just sit back and take in all the Olympics action that NBC wants to give you every night during their primetime, highlights coverage of the games–games that may have happened a dozen hours ago thanks to time zone shenanigans! But if you’re feeling adventurous (or know how to work your DVR) you can catch some events as they occur live throughout the day. Luckily, there are plenty of live streaming options to choose from so you can keep up with this global phenomenon.

But which events should you try to catch live, even if it means sneaking a stream on your work desktop? Here are three events from some of the Winter Olympics’ surefire sports that you will want to keep an eye on.

All times Eastern

9:30-10 a.m. — Women’s Luge (singles competition, Run 1)

You ever watch bobsledding and think, “Pssssh, who needs a team and a big ski canoe? Just go it alone!” Then, dear reader, the luge is the sport for you as it puts one lone Olympian on a teeny sled and sends them speeding through a course so fast they would definitely get pulled over by a cop on the interstate.

5-8 p.m. — Mixed Doubles Curling (semifinal)

Curling gets a lot of bogus attention for being one of the more bewildering Olympic sports. Sure, it involves a little stone with a handle and a broom and everyone’s on the ice but no one’s wearing skates and… yeah, it’s weird. But it’s also super popular, way more intense than you expect, and it’s given the PyeongChang Winter Olympics its very first meme:

8-11:30 p.m. — Women’s Snowboarding (halfpipe gold medal final)

When you think of the Winter Olympics, there’s a good chance you think of gnarly snowboard tricks–that is, if you’re on the younger side and don’t have an affection for figure skating. But this action-packed event is tonight during the primetime hours, if you want to get your adrenaline pumping right before bed.
