When Is ‘The Good Fight’ Season 2 Coming Out?

A little over a year ago, CBS All Access launched its very first scripted drama, The Good Fight. The series was a soapy, scandalous spin-off of CBS proper juggernaut The Good Wife that went further than the primetime procedural had ever dared to go. The Good Fight imagines Christine Baranski‘s Diane Lockhart scuttling off to a mostly-black law firm after she loses everything in a Madoff-like Ponzi scheme. Diane brings her goddaughter, Maia Rindell (Rose Leslie), along for the ride. The only problem is Maia’s father orchestrated the big bad scheme. Season One ended with Maia’s father throwing her under the bus. Quite the cliffhanger, eh?

So when can we expect to get some resolution? Will things continue to be weird for Diane? And will Cush Jumbo‘s Lucca Quinn and Justin Bartha’s Colin Morrello ever get back together?

When Is The Good Fight Season 2 Coming Out?

Good news! The Good Fight will be back on Sunday, March 4th.

What Do We Know About The New Season So Far?

Well, besides the on-going Rindell saga, Season 2 is set to hang around a really intriguing premise: “Kill all the lawyers.” Yes, it’s an infamous Shakespeare quote, but it’s also a rallying cry for disgruntled folks this season. A divorce lawyer gets mowed over by an angry client and soon, lawyers are being targeted, threatened, and gunned down. Early teasers hint that our favorite law firm will also come under fire. We see Marissa Gold opening a threatening letter with a suspicious substance…that falls on her lap and on Maia’s hands.

Is Everyone Returning For Season Two?

Most of The Good Fight‘s cast is due to return, with one major exception. Actress Erica Tazel is out, and acclaimed Broadway icon Audra McDonald is in. McDonald will be joining the firm as Liz Reddick-Lawrence. And early teasers suggest Liz may not have Maia’s best interests at heart.
