How To Watch ‘The Walking Dead’ Season 8 Midseason Premiere Online

After taking a few months off to hibernate for the Winter, The Walking Dead Season 8 return date is this weekend (Sunday, February 25)! The big news is that *spoilers in case you were hibernating for most of the Fall, as well* Carl (Chandler Riggs) is going to that great zombie-free heaven in the sky in the opening episode. The other big news is that after nearly two seasons of torturing and attacking Rick’s (Andrew Lincoln) group of post-apocalyptic survivors, the war with Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) will finally end.

Will Negan come out on top? Or Rick? Or maybe some new, third character we’ve never heard of before? Whoever wins, we also win, because we’re about to enter the most exciting, action-packed block of episodes in the show’s eight season long history.

WHEN DOES WALKING DEAD COME BACK?

The Walking Dead returns this Sunday, February 25 at 9:00 p.m. Eastern, but as often happens with a big episode, this one is extending past the hour mark. After-show Talking Dead is on a shifted schedule as well, though Chris Hardwick’s chat sesh will run an hour as usual, ending at 11:22 p.m. Eastern.
