Can you believe the 90th annual Academy Awards are this Sunday?! 2017 came and went, and some of the year’s best films are finally available to stream – just in time for you to know what’s actually going down at the Oscars this weekend. We know that you want to be able to throw down a couple opinions about The Shape of Water and Call Me By Your Name during the proceedings, and luckily, Amazon Prime Video does too.
Here are this year’s nominees for Best Picture that you can rent or buy on Prime Video ahead of the Academy Awards on March 4.
- Darkest Hour: available now to buy
- Dunkirk: available now to rent or buy
- Get Out: available now to buy or stream on HBO with Amazon Channels
- Lady Bird: available now to buy
- Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri: available now to buy
- Call Me By Your Name: available now to pre-order, arriving on 2/27
- The Shape of Water: available now to pre-order, arriving 2/27
That means the only two Best Picture nominees you won’t be able to stream from the comfort of your own home prior to the Oscars are The Post and Phantom Thread, which are currently still playing in theaters. Other Oscar nominees and winners on Prime Video can be found here, and Best Screenplay nominee The Big Sick, is available to stream for free with your Prime subscription.
If you’re already all caught up and want to continue brushing up on your Oscar trivia, you’ll be thrilled to know that Prime Video is making select previous Best Picture nominees available for Prime members to rent for just $1.99 this Thursday and Friday leading up to the 2018 Academy Awards.
