Even with an extensive Netflix movie deal and hundreds of millions of dollars in the bank, it seems that Adam Sandler can still find time to try out some new material just like the rest of New York’s struggling artists – on the subway. That’s right. Disguised in a large hoodie and sunglasses, the Sandman took the Times Square subway platform with an accompanist to sing a few bizarre, occasionally raunchy songs for unsuspecting commuters.

Some lucky fans documented the performance on Instagram, and according to TMZ, the performance came right after he shot a special uptown at Comic Strip Live. While his getup may have fooled some, his distinct voice evidently gave him away, and he drew quite the crowd (even accepting tips!).

Sandler’s new tunes ranged in subject matter from walking in on his parents having sex (yes, he is singing, “daddy f***ed my eye with his penis”) to different kinds of candy, and at one point, he warned his audience that “scary shit is coming”. Whatever that scary shit is, we are totally here for it.

This mini concert may have come as a surprise to many fans, but to any true #Fandler, it makes perfect sense that Sandler would perform new material on the subway.
