The Oscar Jet Ski Can Be Yours (Helen Mirren Not Included)

One of the breakout stars of the 2018 Oscars was, without a doubt, a bright green jet ski. Host Jimmy Kimmel wheeled out the jet ski (with Helen Mirren on board) and said that whoever delivered the shortest speech would win the high-powered water hog. The winner, with a speech lasting 36 seconds, was The Phantom Thread costume designer Mark Bridges. Congrats, Mark!

So what happened to the jet ski? The Hollywood Reporter has revealed that Bridges has donated the jet ski to charity, and it’s now up for raffle via Omaze. I guess winning an Oscar was enough of a prize for Mark!

If you have a need for a famous jet ski that’s been ridden by Helen Mirren, then you can buy up entries to the raffle by donating money to the charity. The charity benefitting from this once in a lifetime jet ski raffle is the Motion Picture & Television Fund, an organization that provides services to current and retired members of the entertainment industry.

The raffle’s page lists all of the prizes perks, including the specs for the 2018 Kawasaki Ultra 310LX Jet Ski. There is one very important asterisk for all entrants to pay attention to, though: Helen Mirren is not included in the prize package.
