‘Sneaky Pete’ Season 2: Here’s Why Sara Tomko Looks So Familiar

Have you already devoured the second season of Sneaky Pete? If so, no judgements here. I watched all ten episodes over the span of a weekend. Season 2 of the Amazon Prime con man series follows a life or death game of cat and mouse that revolves around $11 million dollars and a Teddy Roosevelt buffalo. Giovanni Ribisi’s Marius Josipovic is once again at the center of all the action as his avalanche of carefully curated deceit threatens not only his own life, but the lives of the Bernhardt family.

One of the many obstacles standing between Marius and financial freedom is a by the book casino employee named Suzanne. Portrayed by actress Sara Tomko, the character has led to a swarm of Sneaky Pete viewers wondering why this actress seems so darn familiar.

Where have you seen Tomko before she appeared on the newest season of Sneaky Pete? Decider is here to answer that very question.

WHERE HAVE I SEEN ACTRESS SARA TOMKO BEFORE?

Prior to earning the role of Suzanne, Tomko played Tiger Lily on the ABC fantasy drama Once Upon a Time. While a large swath of viewers might recognize the actress from that high-profile gig, she also appeared on HBO’s The Leftovers, played Minnie in the 2012 sci-fi drama Extraction, and guest starred on AMC’s The Son.

WHAT ABOUT SOME OF THE OTHER SCENE-STEALERS FROM SNEAKY PETE SEASON 2?

In my Season 2 review I wrote about the slew of exceptional actors who inhabit the world of Sneaky Pete. The main cast alone is an incredible collection of talent, but when you factor in the aforementioned Tomko with actresses Heather Burns and Jennifer Ferrin, you’ll wish there were ten more episodes to binge.

Burns portrays Trish on Sneaky Pete (aka Lance’s girlfriend). While the character isn’t wily enough to outsmart Julia, the actress is a welcome addition to the ensemble. You might recognize Burns from her storied rom-com career (Miss Congeniality, You’ve Got Mail, Two Weeks Notice), but she also had a memorable role on HBO’s blisteringly clever series Bored to Death.

Burns was involved with the Julia/Lance storyline, while Ferrin’s character, steely detective Joyce Roby, found herself embroiled in Taylor’s attempt to cover-up Detective Winslow’s murder.

Before Ferrin exhibited some seriously scorching chemistry with Shane McRae, she catapulted to fame for her portrayal of Jennifer Munson on As the World Turns. You might also recognize the actress from The Following, The Knick, and AMC’s Hell on Wheels.

Now that we all know a little more about the show’s talented ensemble cast, we can begin to investigate our next mystery: When will Amazon renew Sneaky Pete for Season 3?
