Katy Perry Accidentally Flashed Her ‘American Idol’ Co-Stars

It’s difficult to create a true “water-cooler moment” in 2018, but the recently revived American Idol is doing its best to create a slew of memeable events (wig, anyone?). Before the reality stalwart officially kicks off its quest to crown the next idol, fans are treated to the most entertaining aspect of the series: the auditions.

During last night’s episode, one American Idol hopeful helped to produce an unforgettable moment. Self-professed “show woman” Michelle Sussett arrived on the scene to make people “dance, laugh, enjoy music, and make them have a super, super happy moment.” Mission accomplished! After her performance, Sussett invited judges Luke Bryan, Katy Perry, and Lionel Richie to join her for an impromptu dance session. Some people wait a lifetime for an invitation like this.

Initially, the judges were like “nah, dog,” as we can see from the below photo, but if you think Bryan, Perry, and Richie are immune to the rollicking beats of an impromptu dance party, you don’t know your “Roar” from your “Hello.”

The three began to jam with Sussett and while in the process of dropping it like it’s hot, Perry, unable to overcome the combination of a short dress and high heels, suffered a wardrobe malfunction.

After accidentally flashing her new co-workers, Richie and Bryan helped their fallen co-star to her feet. Perry laughed about the potentially embarrassing situation.

“I’m the best dancer ever,” Perry quipped. “There are some things a man can’t unsee,” Bryan added.

The judges unanimously voted to send Sussett to Hollywood, so this isn’t the last we’ll see of this American Idol hopeful.
