Tomi Lahren Admits To Kicking Her Dog While Filming A Live ‘Fox & Friends’ Segment — 5 Times!

On Wednesday, Fox & Friends contributor Tomi Lahren admitted that she kicked her small chihuahua Kota five times as a punishment for chewing loudly while Lahren was recording a live segment.

In an Instagram story, Lahren filmed Kota while she said, “Why don’t you tell the world what you were doing during my entire Fox & Friends hit? Oh, I know, chewing on her damn bone as loud as she possibly could.” Lahren continued, “So I had to kick her about five times during the show. So thank you, Kota, for that.” In the next video, Lahren pets Kota while telling her 1.2 million Instagram followers, “If you don’t think little Kota gets treated like a queen you clearly don’t know little Kota. That’s for dang sure. Right Kota?” On camera, Kota seems calm and looks like she’s enjoying Lahren’s affection.

According to the DailyMail, Lahren attempted to hide the fact that she kicked the dog on-camera. “Around the four minute mark, faint chewing noises of her dog are audible,” writes the Daily Mail. About 15 seconds later, “Lahren gives a tight lipped face face, completely distracted from what’s happening on screen, and with a sudden jerk she appears to give a kick below her desk off screen.” While viewers couldn’t see Kota, they were able to hear the sound of her collar clinking — likely as she scurried away from her owner. Lahren apparently laughed nervously after she kicked the chihuahua, but quickly regained her composure.

Lahren posts a lot about her dog on Instagram, so it’s disappointing — and incredibly concerning — to see her treat Kota this way. Lahren told TMZ that her comments were a joke, but regardless, it seems like an apology is in order.
