Can you believe we’ll soon see the seventh season of Call the Midwife?! It’s been a long road for the ladies at Nonnatus House, but the gals have done it, and soon you’ll be able to watch brand new episodes of the series on PBS. The first six seasons currently live on Netflix, and if you’re a bit behind, you have plenty of time to catch up before Jenny and the rest of the ladies return for Season 7.

If you’ve already binged all the Call the Midwife that Netflix has to offer and you’re desperately craving new episodes, we have some exciting news. Netflix has revealed exclusively to Decider that Call the Midwife: Series 6: Christmas Special 2017 will be arriving on the platform April 24, 2018. So while you wait for Season 7 to move off of PBS and onto Netflix, you can celebrate Christmas in April.

The 2017 Christmas Special takes place in the midst of the Big Freeze of 1962, marking the worst English winter in two centuries. With a series of blizzards plaguing Poplar and just about everything under the sun going wrong, the community must come together to face the challenges of the unrelenting cold.

Call the Midwife is based on the memoirs of British nurse Jennifer Worth and follows a group of nurse midwives in 1950s and 60s London as they go about their day-to-day business and navigate their own lives in the process. The period drama manages to be moving, funny, and smart, while addressing a slew of important social issues like reproductive rights, homophobia, religion, sexuality, and more.

The full list of titles arriving on Netflix in April 2018 will be available Tuesday, March 20.
