The Jinx: The Life and Deaths of Robert Durst

In a revelation shocking precisely no one, accused murderer Robert Durst reportedly regrets giving interviews to the producers of HBO‘s The Jinx. As reported by the Los Angeles Times, Durst told a friend in a jail cell call recorded in 2015 that he regretted giving interviews to the producers of The Jinx. While watching the 6-part HBO docuseries, he apparently realized that he “definitely had a problem” – and he wasn’t wrong.

The 75-year-old multimillionaire was arrested back in March 14, 2015, for the murder of his best friend Susan Berman, the day before the infamous finale of the series aired. Prosecutors reportedly feared that he might flee given the damning evidence coming to light, and contend that he murdered Berman to keep her from revealing information about the mysterious disappearance of Durst’s first wife, Kathleen.

The Jinx highlights the bizarre events of Durst’s life, including the still-unsolved missing person case of his first wife and his acquittal for the gruesome murder of neighbor Morris Black.

In the final episode of the series, Durst mumbles “What the hell did I do? Killed them all, of course,” into a hot mic, which is likely inadmissible in court, but definitely won’t bode well for the real estate mogul. Durst apparently nodded off several times during his court appearance on Thursday, but as of now, there have been no reports of burping.
