*Dear White People:* Season 2
**Rotten Tomatoes Score:** 100%
As our own Joe Reid wrote, Volume 2 of this Netflix original series from writer/director Justin Simien somehow manages to do the unthinkable - get even better. The second installment picks up right where the first left off, after a protest at Winchester University leaves a window broken and the dean's son arrested. If Season 1 saw our leads at odds with the white students on campus, the second installment focuses closer on our leads, particularly on an alt-right Twitter troll terrorizing Sam. Sharp, resonant, and consistently ambitious, *Dear White People* is a gift to television.

This delightful documentary sees revered director Agnes Varda team up with photographer/muralist J.R. and travel through rural France, forming an unlikely friendship in the process. A stunning exploration of their respective love of imagery and how they share it with the world, this unconventional road movie will steal your heart.

**God's Own Country**

In this British drama, a young sheep farmer named Johnny spends his days binge drinking and having casual sex in his boring town, until a handsome Romanian migrant worker arrives and turns his world upside down. Forced to deal with emotions he's never quite experienced before, Johnny's life may very well be changed by this relationship forever.

Directed by Lee Unkrich (*Monsters, Inc.*, *Finding Nemo*, *Toy Story 3*), Disney•Pixar's breathtaking film tells the story of Miguel, a 12-year-old boy with music in his soul (despite it being forbidden by his family) who is accidentally transported to the Land of the Dead. There, he seeks the help of his deceased musician great-great-grandfather to help return him to his living family - and find out why music is banned in his family. A gorgeous, poignant tribute to family, tradition, and love, *Coco* is a compelling, moving watch for viewers young and old (and explores death in a way few children's films ever come close to).

*Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt*: Season 4

The fourth installment of Netflix's quirky original comedy continues to follow the eponymous Kimmy (Ellie Kemper) as she navigates the wild, wild world that is New York City and now handle her new relationship with Zach (in addition to possibly working at his new start-up company!). Joined by her companions Titus (Tituss Burgess), Lillian (Carol Kane), and Jacqueline (Jane Krakowski), Kimmy is bound to get herself into even more endearing shenanigans this time around.

*Scandal*: Season 7

Created by the legendary Shonda Rhimes, this Kerry Washington-led political thriller focuses on a White House Communications Director-turned-professional "fixer" named Olivia Pope who races against the clock with her team to diffuse the latest scandal in their midst - and try to keep their own secrets in the process. Smart, sexy, and totally addicting, *Scandal* is a crowd-pleaser for all kinds of viewers - and this is the last season, so get your fix while you can!

*Trollhunters*: Season 3

Created by visionary director Guillermo del Toro, this animated children's series tells the story of an ordinary teenager who discovers a mystical amulet and a secret civilization of mighty trolls beneath his hometown that could use a little help from him to save the world. Armed with compelling storytelling and beautiful animation, this series may very well earn del Toro a whole new generation of fans.

**The Bourne Ultimatum**

Matt Damon's mega franchise continues with this third film in the series, which sees Jason Bourne dodge a relentless CIA official and his cohorts while trying to discover the origins of his own life as a trained killer. With a million and one people on his tail who want him dead before he discovers the truth, the stakes are higher than ever. Treat yourself to this non-stop thrill ride and the best installment of the Bourne franchise - you deserve a little action once in a while.

Whimsical as it is witty, this offbeat comedy depicts a shy waitress who resolves to make the lives of those around her better, even though she isolates herself from everyone. *Arrow*: Season 6

This CW/DC superhero series shines a new light on Green Arrow AKA Oliver Queen, a billionaire playboy who returns home after being stranded on an island for five years and takes up a vigilante lifestyle to clean up his city. Armed with compelling characters, witty writing, and top-notch action sequences, *Arrow* will surprise you in more ways than one. While we aren't quite sure when in May the sixth season will debut on the platform just yet, we are certain that we can get hyped to see it before the end of the month.

*Riverdale*: Season 2

If you thought the first season of The CW's soapy, murdery take on the Archie comics was insane, just wait until you see the second installment. Reeling from the tragic Season 1 shooting at Pop's Diner, Archie is hellbent on finding out the identity of his father's attacker, while Veronica deals with the arrival of her just-out-of-prison dad. Further complicating matters is a serial killer known as the Black Hood, and no one is safe from his terrifying antics. Who will live? Who will die? Who will make out? Binge the second season of *Riverdale* to find out! While we aren't quite sure when in May the second season will debut on the platform just yet, it'll definitely be here before you know it.

**The Flash**: Season 4

Grant Gustin stars in this fresh take on the classic DC comic that sees police forensic scientist Barry Allen able to trable at super speed after being struck by lightning. Barry uses his newfound power to fight crime in New York City, and with unexpected allies and formidable foes, there's never a dull moment. There's no official date for when the fourth season is set to debut on the platform, but we know it's happening this month.
