When will Black Panther be released on Blu-ray?
Black Panther will be released on Blu-ray and 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray on May 15 in a number of different formats, some including digital copies of the film (remember that in case you know you’re eventually gonna buy a physical copy and are tempted to get the digital version a week early). If you are super into getting one of those Best Buy SteelBook editions, the Black Panther SteelBook will also arrive on May 15.
What special features will be included on the Blu-ray and digital copies?
Obviously there’s more than than just the film itself to get excited about. Black Panther’s home video release will include director’s commentary with Ryan Coogler, deleted scenes (including one at the United Nations, a tense talk between Okoye and W’Kabi, and more), outtakes, making-of featurettes (including a history of Wakanda, a spotlight on the women, an exploration of the origin of vibranium, and a celebration of the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s first decade), a roundtable discussion with the filmmakers, and a sneak peek at this summer’s Ant-Man and the Wasp.
When will Black Panther be available on Netflix?
Netflix has a deal with Disney that grants the streaming service the rights to their movies. While a Netflix arrival date has not been officially revealed, we can make a guess going off of how long it took previous MCU movies to hit. Going off of that info, it’s possible that Black Panther will hit Netflix either in late September or early October, 2018.
