‘Game Of Thrones’ Is Shooting Multiple Endings, According To Emilia Clarke

How is Game of Thrones going to end? That’s the question on the minds of anyone who’s ever tuned in to watch the addictive machinations of the inhabitants of Westeros. Amidst the array of dragons, hot hookups, and gruesome carnage, Game of Thrones’ carefully calculated storytelling has led to unparalleled expectations for the series finale. What’s going to happen? Nobody knows… including Emilia Clarke.

That’s right, even Daenerys doesn’t know how Game of Thrones will end. During a recent conversation with The Hollywood Reporter, the actress was asked when she learned about the show’s finale. Evidently, the details behind the top-secret finale are being kept under wraps, even from the actors.

“I don’t know that I even do now,” Clarke said. “I’m being serious. I think they’re filming a bunch of stuff and they’re not telling us. I’m being serious. I’m being deadly serious. I think that they don’t even trust us.”

Someone not trusting another person on Game of Thrones? That’s madness! Even if Clarke or another Game of Thrones star wanted to dish on the finale, they wouldn’t be able to. According to Clarke, the show is shooting multiple endings.

“There’s lots of different endings that could happen; I think we’re doing all of them and we aren’t being told which is actually what’s going to happen.”

A classic Game of Thrones twist!

Clarke may not be sure about how the hit HBO series will conclude, but one thing’s for certain: Death. Lots and lots of death. When you play the game of thrones, you win or you die.

The final season of Game of Thrones is scheduled to premiere in 2019.
