***Marie Antoinette***
It may have taken Marie Antoinette and the King a while to get going in the bedroom, but once they got down to it, they pretty much made a baby in the first go. Right on, Marie. Have the sex and eat the cake while you can.

***The Other Boleyn Girl***
Anne was totally the girl sent to shake up King Henry VIII's world, but her sister Mary swoops in first, falling for him while he's injured and evidently getting pregnant with his baby. Things don't work out so well for Mary (or Anne) in the end, but hey, at least the girl got in some sexy time.

***Versailles***
This show was basically canceled for having too many sex scenes, so this had to make the list. This drama set during the reign of Louis XIV featured pretty much all of its characters having all of the sex all of the time. Even preggo.

***Reign***
Pretty much everyone on *Reign* was boning all the time, but this scene in particular really stands out. Sexy scene from the final episode of Reign where Emmanuelle bewitches Catherine and Narcisse into having sex in order to conceive the devil's child

***The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement***
I can just feel the judgment already for this one, but hear me out. Two of the hottest people alive - Chris Pine and Anne Hathaway - spend most of this movie bickering, and there is so much sexual tension between the two of them it's nearly unbearable. When they finally (angrily) kiss, they make out so recklessly they fall into a fountain. That is HOT.

***Game of Thrones***
Okay, so Renly may not have *technically* been King when he engaged in his passionate affair with Loras, but he had dubbed himself the *rightful* Ruler of the Seven Kingdoms, so that counts for something, right? Come on, the two of them are too hot together not to include on this list.

***The Tudors***
With sex scenes in pretty much every single episode of *The Tudors* that ever aired, it's pretty hard to pin one down - but this encounter, in which Anne and Henry drop trou in the woods - is too good not to highlight. After a season of rapidly building sexual tension, the two of them finally let loose and quite literally get down-n-dirty. He might not be happy with how things wrap up, but it sure kicks off a pretty crazy sequence of events.

***A Royal Affair***
Alicia Vikander stars as Princess Caroline Matilda of Great Britain, and Caroline partakes in a, ahem, royal affair with sexy German doctor Johann Friedrich Struensee (Mads Mikkelsen). Once miserable in her marriage, she finds solace in the arms of someone who actually seems to know what's up in bed. Like most of these stories however, one of these people ends up beheaded. The things we do for love.

***The White Queen***
King Edward IV (Max Irons) gets seriously wild with commoner Elizabeth Woodville (Rebecca Ferguson) on *The White Queen*, and these two hold pretty much nothing back. Their first romp is something that should literally go down in history (and, kind of did).

***The Crown***
*The Crown* has mostly shied away from getting too intimate - and we can't really blame them since Queen Elizabeth probably wouldn't be thrilled seeing her sex life enacted on screen - but the most recent season did give us a glimpse of the steamy romance of Princess Margaret and Lord Snowden. Things may not have turned out great for this couple, but that honeymoon phase was damn near too hot to handle.
