Netflix’s Queer Eye is the streaming sensation that’s sweeping the nation; since the reality show premiered in February of this year, we’ve all fallen in love with the Fab 5 and everything they’ve done to change these heroes’ lives. Tan, Bobby, Antoni, Karamo, and Jonathan have all showed us the power of self love and a little extra self care, and they’ve changed the catharsis of the binge watch in the process.
After premiering last week, Season 2 of Queer Eye has pushed us through more than few boxes of tissues and into some seriously emotional states, and we couldn’t be happier about it. Two seasons in the span of a few months! Can you BELIEVE?! With new installments helping change the lives of transgender and female characters, the show just keeps getting better.

Tan France
Your essence: You’re often one of the more serious friends in the group, able to wrangle all of the explosive energy coming from your pals. That doesn’t mean you can’t have fun, though. For all the ways you’re responsible, you’re also the life of the party, able to slay the room in a top-notch ensemble or a French tuck. You also aren’t afraid to speak your mind, no matter who’s watching.
What makes you cry: You may not be as mushy as the rest of your pals, but that doesn’t mean you’re made of stone. Your heart is as big as your hair, full of empathy and understanding, and when it comes to your family, loved ones, and fighting for acceptance for all, it doesn’t take too much to pull on your heartstrings.
Your goto binge-watch: Anything but Frasier.
Your favorite hero: Skyler. You teared up watching him try on that perfect suit just like the rest of us, and he opened your eyes to things you’d never even considered. You can’t put a price on that.
Jonathan Van Ness
Your essence: You walk into any room and steal the spotlight immediately, and that’s why everyone loves you – you are unabashedly yourself, and who doesn’t want that?! Your confidence is aspirational, allowing you to work any look, no matter how daring it is. You love to make others feel good about themselves, helping them see that they TOO can embrace the fierceness inside of them.
What makes you cry: Just about anything.
Your goto binge-watch: You definitely love to whip out the tissues for This Is Us, but there’s nothing like the suspense of fantasy dramas like Game of Thrones for you.
Your favorite hero: You don’t pick favorites, hunny.
Antoni Porowski
Your essence: You have a heart of gold, but your understated presence allows your warm personality to sneak up on people. People may underestimate your talents, but you don’t need to be loud and proud about them to convince people – your work speaks for itself. Also, you’re probably very hot.
What makes you cry: You’re pretty much a bonafide crybaby, but not just anything gets tears out of you. An emotional connection? Stunning transformation? Overwhelming amount of love despite all odds? Break out the tissues.
Your goto binge-watch: You’re known to indulge in Chef’s Table fairly often, but you totally harbor a secret love for Riverdale.
Your favorite hero: Mamma Tammye. You just can’t handle seeing someone do so much so selflessly for others, and unconditional love on display is a surefire way to win your heart.
Bobby Berk
Your essence: You are generally a subtle beacon of light, offering a much-needed listening ear to those struggling around you. You might have some of your own demons that you fight off every day, which is why it’s so important to you to help others. Karamo Brown
Your essence: Your sense of cool and self-centeredness is reassuring as hell to those around you, and you know exactly what to say, when to say it, and what tone of your soothing voice to say it in. You’re a natural born leader, drawing people to you in even the most unlikely of situations. You’ve had your hard times, yes, but you’re dedicated to make sure no one else has to experience what you did – and that’s what makes you such a gem.
What makes you cry: Your emotions catch up with you at unexpected moments, and the tears usually come when someone else is opening their heart to you. You’re also known to bust out the tissues for a weepy movie.
Your goto binge-watch: You’re a big lover of documentary series, but there’s nothing like a cheer-filled binge sesh of RuPaul’s Drag Race.
Your favorite hero: Corey. You pride yourself in bridging the gap between the dramatic political divide currently plaguing our nation, and knowing that someone can open their heart and mind up the way this cop did gives you hope for the rest of the world.
