One thing that’s about as certain as death and taxes is Internet judgement, especially for people who may or may not conform to what a particular troll may think of as standard body norms. Ashley Jensen, girlfriend of embattled Southern Charm cast member Thomas Ravenel, posted two pictures of herself in a bikini to her Instagram account, and tried to keep the trolls who want her to “eat a cheeseburger” at bay by explaining her skinny appearance.

Jensen began her lengthy post with what is one of the better windups we’ve seen in awhile: “I was going to say in my caption something like, ‘Happy Summer Solstice’ and turn commenting off. But then I thought, ‘who am I kidding?’ Turn commenting off so I don’t have to read all the comments on how unhealthy I look? How about I be honest with all of you and address this weight concern once and for all.”

She goes on to talk about moving to South Carolina, leaving her nursing career behind, and finding herself on a Bravo reality show, just because she started dating Ravenel, who is facing sexual assault charges from two different women and was banned from the upcoming Southern Charm reunion special. She’s had meltdowns and shouting matches with Ravenel’s ex-wife, Kathryn Dennis, and, according to People, she had an intense appearance on the season’s reunion show.

So imagine going from being an obscure nurse to living in a new city to being on a couch next to Andy Cohen and having millions of viewers dissect your every move, all in the span of 8 months. We think we’d probably eat a large pizza every night under that kind of stress, but, as Jensen said, everyone deals with stress differently:

“I’m allowing comments but if you could please try to refrain from saying, ‘Eat a cheeseburger, you’re on drugs, you have an eating disorder, or you’re way too skinny,’ I’d appreciate it because TRUST ME, I know… I’ve heard it all and it doesn’t help.”
