‘Claws’ Has The Most Graphic Sex Scenes On Basic Cable

Some might say the good folks over at TNT are fans of celebrating the human nature of two adults who find themselves attracted to each other expressing that attraction, physically. And others might say, damn, TNT is horny AF.

This is the same network that brought us some of the steamiest scenes on any TV channel throughout the two seasons of Good Behavior. And if you aren’t already watching Claws, well we have a few gifs that might convince you to do so. Because guess what? The hour-long drama series, recently renewed for a third season, wasted no time getting to the sexy, and we just needed to make sure you knew that. In the show’s pilot episode, Season 1, Episode 1, there are FOUR sex scenes, and even more positions in play than that.

Oh, and Claws is a show about the lives of women who work at a Florida nail salon. Of course it’s not as cut and dry (and manicured) as that, but the show expertly leans into the friendships, the struggles, and the empowerment of these women in how it pertains to their personal and professional lives — which can be just as intertwined as their bodies.

Claws also celebrates diverse women, of all shapes, sizes, and sexual orientations, getting theirs at their job and in the bedroom — and on the floor and in the back of a car, the list goes on and on really.

The first sex scene the show introduces us to sets the tone for whats to come (no pun intended). Desna (Niecy Nash) and Roller (Jack Kesy) get it on in the back room at the salon, while Quiet Ann (Judy Reyes) guards the door — which is already pretty hot. A bouncer for while you’re boning! Behind closed doors, the duo engage in talking about business while doing the business: he lifts her legs, she indulges him in the choking he enjoys, and honestly, she makes such convincing noises, it will make you blush. And they’re just getting going.

The journey through Claws‘ first episode includes a vibrator, a strip club scene complete with drug usage, a man in bondage wear, and Breaking Bad‘s Dean Norris in perhaps the most opposite role of Hank Schrader he could ever find.

Yes, Claws is totally bonkers, but it’s also a show that is unafraid to explore how we, especially as women, use sex to convince people, to hurt people, and to please people (and our own selves in the process). That means the show comes with scenes, sexual and otherwise, that are more complicated and not always sexy per se, but just as important to portray on screen.

The TNT drama features females that are as savvy as they are sexy, and at the heart of the show are some impressive themes of friendship and girl power. And also there are butts and brawls. Again, all still within the very first episode! But is it worth watching past that.

Perhaps you’ve heard the show was good, and maybe even a bit sexy too, but you’ll still be shocked by what you see on screen — from a show on basic cable no less! Get ready to dig in to this one, because Claws will manage to get you turned on and tuned in to every episode.
