***Girls***
The series that inspired thousands of think pieces, *Girls* was obviously a divisive show. Some found it trenchant, while others argued it was grating. Regardless of your views, Lena Dunham's series offered a realistic view of love and sex in your twenties. **Game of Thrones**
Those maniacs from Westeros sure know how to get down, don't they? Amidst the near constant war, death, and bloody massacres, *Game of Thrones* has a reputation for providing viewers with some of the hottest sex scenes on television. **Tell Me You Love Me**
Everyone's heard of *Game of Thrones* and *Sex and the City*, but HBO's controversial *Tell Me You Love Me*, which only aired one season back in 2007, is an under-the-radar sexy series. Earning heaps of press for its extremely realistic depiction of sex, rumors swirled that the sex scenes on the show were *actually* real. That's how raw they were. The series followed the sexual relationships and intimacy issues of three different couples and starred a host of well-known stars, including Adam Scott and Sonya Walger. **Rome**
Rome's reputation for sizzling sex scenes wasn't built in a day. Airing between 2005 and 2007, this period piece's propensity for historical hookups was legendary. **Insecure**
I'll let Decider's resident *Insecure* fanatic Lea Palmieri take it away for this one: "It's hard to argue that Issa's (Issa Rae) season one studio hookup with Daniel (Y'lan Noel) wasn't wrong -- after all, she did cheat on Lawrence (Jay Ellis). Lizzy Caplan True Blood — **True Blood**
Not only do vampires exist, but apparently, they love to *get down*. That was the basic premise of *True Blood*. Okay, okay. Not *really*, but the acclaimed HBO fantasy series certainly had no shortage of sex and nudity. Looking sex scene — **Looking**
A series that celebrated gay relationships in all their forms, *Looking* aired eighteen episodes over two seasons from 2014 to 2015. Then there was *that* movie.
