Looking for a proven series? Issa Rae’s Insecure returns with a phenomenal third season on HBO Sunday night, and despite being Lawrence-less, you won’t want to miss it. Not your thing? You won’t even have to change the channel to watch the Season 4 premiere of Ballers, The Rock’s sports-meets-finance comedy. Insatiable: Season 1

Insatiable has captured America’s attention more than any show in recent memory — if only that attention was positive. The Netflix series tells the story of Patty, a formerly-fat high school student who decides to take revenge on her tormenters when she suddenly loses weight. When the trailer premiered many fans were upset about the show’s “fat shaming” tone, but now that all 12 episodes are out, will they feel the same? People will definitely be talking about Insatiable this weekend, so if you want to be part of the larger cultural conversation, the show, or at least part of the show, is a must-see.

Insecure: Season 3

Issa Rae’s whip-smart comedy returns for a third season on HBO this Sunday. In Season 3, Issa crashes on ex-hook up Daniel’s couch in order to save some money, but her complicated feelings for him make their living situation all the more awkward. Insecure‘s other characters also get a chance to shine this season: Molly struggles to maintain the various boundaries in her life, Tiffany learns she’s pregnant, and Kelli… just does Kelli. Over its past two seasons, Insecure has consistently hit viewers with hilarious social commentary, and hopefully, Season 3 will continue to do the same.

Ballers: Season 4

Ballers Season 4 also hits HBO this Sunday. The new installment follows Spencer and Joe, two financial managers, as they debate acquiring an extreme sports agency. Outside the office, Ricky sets down roots in LA with Amber and their daughter, and Charles rallies a group of disgruntled employees as he begins his new tenure with the Rams, but in both cases, things don’t go as planned. The addicting dark comedy is one of HBO’s most popular shows, and for good reason: with great performances, engaging story lines, and on-point jokes, it’s a damn good time.
