Did You Know Stephanie Pratt’s Been On A British Reality Show This Whole Time — And It’s Better Than ‘The Hills’

Yes, we’re all excited for The Hills: New Beginnings, as the cast of one of MTV’s most beloved shows (even Justin Bobby!) announced the news at last night’s VMAs that they’d be returning for more drama, drama, and drama. But if you can’t wait until 2019, did you know there are 67 episodes of another reality show featuring Stephanie Pratt?

Made in Chelsea was the U.K.’s answer to The Hills when it premiered across the pond in 2011 (seasons 1-13 are available now on Hulu). The show followed rich, beautiful young people in one of London’s fanciest neighborhoods as they fell in love, broke up, and attended gorgeous parties. Everything from the fonts to the heartbreaks to the wistful looks will remind you of the MTV series — especially in season 6 when Stephanie Pratt shows up.

Pratt arrived as the love interest of Spencer Matthews, the show’s most notorious womanizing bad boy. And before viewers could even yell “Save yourself, Stephanie!” at their screens, the two were bickering over their relationship status and living situation. And things only heated up for her from there.

Stephanie was now out of the shadow of her brother, Spencer Pratt, the most fascinating member of The Hills no matter how reluctant Lauren Conrad may be to admit that. In Made in Chelsea, Stephanie is her own intriguing figure. From a bad relationship with a dude who wouldn’t even let her have girlfriends over to their apartment for margaritas, to one of the most dramatic seasons ever, Stephanie was a major player on the British series. Seriously, stick around until season 11 which kicks off with Stephanie literally saying a guy in their friend group was hot, and then leads to everyone turning their backs on her. That’s even after she brings the group on a trip to the Maldives and they spend the vacation talking shit about her. It’s incredible.

Stephanie gets to be funny and flirty and relatable on Made in Chelsea, and it’s simply an unmissable series for fans of The Hills — especially those that need something to tie them over until we get New Beginnings.
