On Thursday, August 16, legendary singer-songwriter Aretha Franklin passed away at the age of 76 from pancreatic cancer. The Queen of Soul’s iconic career spanned decades as the 18-time Grammy winner sold more than 75 million records on her way to becoming the most-charted female artist in Billboard’s history.

A number of high-profile artists will perform at the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer’s funeral, including Stevie Wonder, Faith Hill, Ariana Grande, Jennifer Hudson, Ronald Isley, Chaka Khan, Fantasia, and Yolanda Adams. While some pay their respects through song others say goodbye with their words. President Bill Clinton, Smokey Robinson, Rev. Jesse Jackson, Isiah Thomas, Clive Davis, and more are scheduled to speak at the service.

WHAT TIME IS ARETHA FRANKLIN’S FUNERAL?

The service is scheduled to begin at 10:00 a.m. ET, with coverage beginning on multiple networks around 9:00 a.m. ET. The funeral will take place at the Greater Grace Temple in Detroit, Michigan.

WHERE CAN I WATCH ARETHA FRANKLIN’S FUNERAL?

BET Networks and HLN will air the service in its entirety, but as Detroit Free Press reports, a multitude of outlets will be covering the event. ABC News, FOX News, CNN, and MSNBC among many others plan to air portions of the service live.
