After a short workweek, you’ve finally made it to the weekend. Hooray! This weekend, your favorite platforms are dishing up some great movies and TV shows, so make sure you’ve got your popcorn popped, your phone silenced, and your couch ready. Those plans you made with friends? Cancel ’em — there’s far too much great TV to watch on Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime Video, and HBO this weekend.

Netflix is debuting so many Originals this weekend that it’s practically impossible to know where to start. Are you interested in diving back into the world of the Gardner family? The critically-acclaimed comedy Atypical returns with its second season today, and it’s taking some big swings this time around. If you’d prefer to binge-watch your way through something a bit more action-packed, don’t miss Marvel’s Iron Fist Season 2, which our Brett White says is far better than its lackluster first season. In fact, Iron Fist may just be the best Marvel series of 2018 — take that, Jessica Jones and Luke Cage.

Looking for something a little more cinematic? Check out Sierra Burgess is a Loser, a high school dramedy starring Shannon Purser (Barb from Stranger Things). After years of playing the supporting actress, Purser finally (finally!) gets a chance to play the lead, and she’s unbelievably great. Plus, HBO is debuting the Oscar-nominated musical The Greatest Showman this weekend, so if you’re in the mood for a singalong session, you’re in luck.

Curious what else is hitting your favorite platforms? Here’s what’s new on streaming this weekend.

Atypical: Season 2

Netflix’s critically-acclaimed series is finally back. Season 2 continues to follow Sam, an 18-year-old boy on the Autism spectrum, and his family as they deal with everyday struggles. However, Atypical’s sophomore season promises to be a bit darker than the first. In Season 2, Sam goes through the college admissions process — a task that’s difficult for everyone, regardless of where they sit along the Autism spectrum — and his family attempts to figure out what life looks like with Sam away at school. In addition, each member of the Gardner family is dealing with their own issues: Casey becomes an outcast at her new school, and Elsa and Doug grapple with the consequences of Elsa’s affair.

Marvel’s Iron Fist: Season 2

This Netflix Marvel series follows Danny Rand, a martial arts expert who possesses a magical ability known as the “Iron Fist.” Bad guys threaten Danny and those close to him at every turn, but her remains undeterred in his quest to protect the Iron Fist and its legacy. Season 1 was a bit of a slog, but Iron Fist seems to have learned from its mistakes in Season 2, especially with regard to the fight scenes. As our Brett White explains, these fight scenes help make Iron Fist Season 2 “the most consistently entertaining Marvel show of the year.”

Sierra Burgess is a Loser

Summer may be over, but Netflix’s “Summer of Love” sure isn’t. The platform’s most recent teen rom com, Sierra Burgess is a Loser, serves as a modern retelling of the classic Cyrano de Bergerac story. Shannon Purser stars as Sierra, a smart high school student who is more or less ignored by her peers. But that all changes when the coolest guy in school (who also happens to be Sierra’s crush) mistakenly texts Sierra, and she begins semi-catfishing him in an attempt to win his heart. Will he realize that he’s texting Sierra, not a cool cheerleader? Will he fall in love with her anyway? Stream Sierra Burgess is a Loser to find out.

The Greatest Showman

The Greatest Showman was one of the most successful movies of 2017, and for good reason: it’s pure, unadulterated fun. The musical tells the story of P.T. Barnum, the extravagant entertainer who went on to create the Barnum & Bailey Circus. As Barnum struggles to get his career off the ground, he meets a large ensemble of people who help catapult him to stardom, and it’s not long before he becomes, well, the greatest showman in the world. There are certainly  things that The Greatest Showman leaves out, but singing along to the film’s catchy tunes will make you forget all about the less savory aspects of Barnum’s story.
