There was A LOT to discuss during the supersized Below Deck Mediterranean reunion show. And while Captain Sandy’s canal stories and the Joao-Brooke-Kasey love triangle were explored in-depth, there was only one question we needed the answer to, and host Sir Andy Cohen was sure to deliver.

Once the conversation turned to Hannah and Conrad’s relationship on the yacht, Cohen’s inquisitive side took over as he set up the question we’ve all be wondering about since last week’s finale episode when it was revealed that the two hadn’t been truly physically intimate over the course of their time on the boat.

“So you two were having an affair for around six weeks?” he confirmed with the bosun and chief stew of the boat. “So you’re saying in those six weeks, I mean, I’m sorry to ask you this, it’s very personal, but you never had sex or had blow jobs in six weeks?” As the two shook their heads and answered with “no”s, Cohen followed up with a simple, “Why?”

“Because there’s cameras everywhere,” Hannah laughed.

“We’ve had other seasons of Below Deck where they’re doing it in the laundry room,” Cohen pressed.

“I don’t know, we just didn’t,” Hannah offered. “It was something that was supposed to be waiting until we got off the boat.”

And while Hannah especially owned up to a lot of her mistakes over the course of the season, both she and Conrad counted their last night on the yacht’s coital celebration as a regret.

“That’s not really something I want on TV. It’s 24 hours honey, just keep ’em closed and do what you need to do when you get off the boat,” was the advice she offered to her past self.

But finding out this was the case for the relationship makes it even sweeter, really. That these two really enjoyed each other’s company with clothes on is nice to know; that it wasn’t just the motion of the ocean putting them in the mood for romance. They probably both had expectations that once they actually were physically intimate it would be special and nice. So that things turned out the way they did, all hasty and rushed, of course that’s not going to be a fulfilling experience for anyone, really.

Sure, maybe it’s a bit pervy that we wanted all the details (and hey, Andy’s the one that asked so we’re not alone!) but we were invested in them this season. And honestly, at this point, they’re lucky the relationship didn’t end in a total shipwreck, making a regrettable bang basically seem like a happily ever after.
