Constance Nunes, Mark Towle, and Gotham Garage: Here’s The Scoop on the Cast of Netflix’s ‘Car Masters’

Netflix is accumulating quite the collection of high-octane reality shows. Earlier this year, Fastest Car raced onto the streamer, and last week, Car Masters: Rust to Riches premiered. For the uninitiated, the series follows the crew from Gotham Garage as they overhaul a variety of cars and trucks with the hopes of turning $1,000 into over $100,000. In Episode 1, the crew turned a ratty 1964 Ford Thunderbird they bought for $1,000 into a Chevy Fleetside pickup valued at an estimated $45,000.

Featuring an array of eclectic automobiles and a lively ragtag group of skilled motor enthusiasts, all eight episodes are currently streaming on Netflix. If you’ve already streamed Season 1 and want to learn more about Constance Nunes, Mark Towle, and the rest of the gang from Gotham Garage, we’re here to help.

Here’s the scoop on the cast of Netflix’s Car Masters.

WHAT’S THE DEAL WITH CONSTANCE NUNES (OR IS IT CONSTANCE NUNEZ)?

We’ve seen it misspelled in a few places. It’s Constance Nunes.

Born and raised in the suburbs of Los Angeles, Nunes isn’t only one of the stars of Car Masters, but she’s also a model who’s done print work for Wrangler, Jockey, and JLUXLABEL. With over 10 years experience in the automotive industry, Nunes has worked for BMW, Audi, Acura, and Ford in the service department and as an aftermarket director. She currently works with VP Racing Fuels, Nitto Tires, Audi, and 4 Wheel Parts as a product specialist.

Along with Gotham Garage, she also works with a variety of specialty shops around southern California, including CARS Etc and Charlie’s Corvettes and Classics. During a recent interview with Maxim, Nunes described her ideal date.

“My perfect date would be going to see a drag race or monster truck rally,” she said. “I like that kind of stuff. Something loud and fun and then follow it up with In-N-Out and beer in the bed of a truck just hanging out.”

Also relevant: Nunes owns a 1964.5 Ford Mustang.

IS CONSTANCE NUNES ON INSTAGRAM?

Yep. You can stay up to date on the Car Masters star by following her on Instagram.

WHAT ABOUT GOTHAM GARAGE OWNER MARK TOWLE?

As anyone who’s watched even a single episode of Car Masters is well-aware, Mark Towle is a man who can build anything. Born in 1962, Towle used to dumpster dive as a child, taking broken gadgets and toys and rebuilding them into cooler toys. Before he started Gotham, Towle spent a number of years in the entertainment industry building props for movie studios.

Never one to place limits on his craft, Towle not only specializes in automobile makeovers, but he’s also built custom boats, motorcycles, and even a helicopter. There’s not a ton of information about Towle available online, but you can learn more about him from the Gotham Garage website.

WHAT ABOUT GOTHAM GARAGE?

If you can dream it, Gotham Garage can build it. Available for custom fabrication, welding, and general customization, you can follow along with (or even contact) the garage on Facebook or the shop’s personal website.
