Even on a game show like Let’s Make A Deal, where every episode is different, the structure day in and day out is still the same: Costumes, enthusiastic contestants, Wayne Brady goofing with Jonathan Mangum and Tiffany Coyne, Zonks and Big Deals. So when something special happens, not only does the audience at home get excited, the hosts fall all over themselves to make some Good TV.

On Tuesday’s episode of Let’s Make A Deal, a contestant named Felix was there for Zonk Redemption Week, where contestants from previous years who lost try to “redeem” themselves with a win. Felix tells Brady a story about the first time he was on the show, and that his boyfriend at the time is now his fiance Roman. And then he drops the “Good TV” bomb: If he wins the big prize in the deal he’s in, he wants to get married to Roman right then and there.

Wayne looks to Roman, who’s surprised but seems OK with it. Felix doesn’t win the car being offered, deciding to stop at $1,000. Let’s just say that to him any prize would have been fine. So an insta-wedding was held at the end of the show. To say everyone on the show was delighted was an understatement.

After being ordained online during the commercial break, and somehow finding flowers, rings and a cake, Brady marries Felix and Roman as the credits roll. (Try upstaging that, Glenn Weiss!) It’s the first time a wedding has ever happened on the show, going back to the late Monty Hall’s original version. Not bad way to usher in the current version’s 10th season, huh?
