Get ready, Marshmallows, because Veronica Mars is coming back in a big way. This afternoon, star Kristen Bell shared that Hulu is going to be a straight-up Veronica Mars party come 2019. The platform is currently working on a revival, set to debut next year; even better, all three seasons of the original series and the follow-up movie will be able to stream on Hulu in Summer 2019, so you’ll be able to refresh your memory before the new season hits.

“This is a very special Marshmallow announcement,” Bell said in video posted to her Twitter and Instagram accounts. “Did you guys know that as of Summer 2019, all the old Veronica Mars episodes will be available on Hulu to stream and re-watch?” Hell no, we didn’t! She continued, “Which is great, ’cause you’ll need to brush up, since we’re making another one!” In terms of revival announcements, this one is pretty damn good.

According to Hulu, the new season will follow the Veronica as she investigates a murder in a beach town. “Spring breakers are getting murdered in Neptune, thereby decimating the seaside town’s lifeblood tourist industry,” the official description reads. “After Mars Investigations is hired by the parents of one of the victims to find their son’s killer, Veronica is drawn into an epic eight-episode mystery that pits the enclave’s wealthy elites, who would rather put an end to the month-long bacchanalia, against a working class that relies on the cash influx that comes with being the West Coast’s answer to Daytona Beach.”

Hulu has given the Veronica Mars revival an eight-episode order, and the platform is characterizing it as a “limited series.” Yes, eight episodes is probably not enough time to spend with Kristen Bell (just as 13 episodes per season of The Good Place isn’t enough), but don’t be too sad — you’ll have plenty to watch before the new installment debuts. The first three seasons of Veronica Mars include 64 episodes, which comes out to about 2,688 minutes of TV. And that’s not even counting the 2014 movie. So, yeah, you’ll be spending a lot of time on Hulu come Summer 2019.
