Tonight’s a bittersweet night for millions of viewers. Tonight’s the Season 12 premiere of The Big Bang Theory… and it’s also the premiere of the final season of The Big Bang Theory. The CBS nerd-com is calling it quits after this season, making it one of the longest-running primetime live-action sitcoms in the history of television. It’ll leapfrog over Cheers, Frasier, and M*A*S*H (all 11 seasons long) and tie Two and a Half Men (12 seasons, but slightly fewer episodes than TBBT will end with). Soon it’ll be second only to The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet, which produced 435 episodes between 1952-1966.

But before The Big Bang Theory takes its place in TV history and becomes TV history, we got a whole new season of geeky hijinks to enjoy–and it starts tonight on CBS! Are you a cord-cutter and curious about how to watch it? Or are you gonna be outta the house tonight and need a way to catch up tomorrow? Then lets get to answering those questions!

When is The Big Bang Theory season premiere?

“The Conjugal Configuration,” the Season 12 premiere of The Big Bang Theory, airs Monday, September 24 on CBS at 8 p.m. ET (that’s tonight, people). Here’s the official synopsis for the episode:

Sheldon and Amy’s honeymoon runs aground in New York, while Penny and Leonard discover they are uncomfortably similar to Amy’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fowler (Teller and Kathy Bates). Also, Koothrappali insults physicist Neil deGrasse Tyson and starts a Twitter war.

Can you watch The Big Bang Theory live online?

Yes–although you’re going to need a live TV account with a streaming service to do it. The obvious first choice is CBS All Access, which will let you stream your local CBS affiliate live and let you stream The Big Bang Theory premiere later if you miss it. Otherwise, you can stream CBS if you have accounts with Hulu with Live TV, YouTubeTV, and/or DirecTV Now. CBS is included with all of those live TV options.

Can you stream The Big Bang Theory after it airs?

This is where things get tricky, and this is why you should consider getting CBS All Access if The Big Bang Theory is your jam and you have plans every Monday night until May. CBS All Access is the only streaming service that will have this season of The Big Bang Theory available to stream the morning after it premieres on CBS.

If you don’t want CBS All Access, you can outright buy the season for $39.99 on iTunes. New episodes will be available to download on Tuesday mornings.

Is The Big Bang Theory on Hulu?

While you can stream CBS live if you have a Hulu with Live TV account, you cannot stream The Big Bang Theory on just regular ol’ Hulu. With Hulu, you either gotta watch it live with that live account, or you’re outta luck!

To sum up: The Big Bang Theory Season 12 premiere airs on Monday, September 24 on CBS (which is available on CBS All Access, Hulu with Live TV, YouTubeTV, and DirecTV Now) at 8 p.m. ET. On September 25, you will be able to stream the episode on on CBS All Access or purchase it in iTunes.
