Watch Will Smith Bungee Jump Into the Grand Canyon Live for His Birthday

Today is a momentous day. On this glorious day, Will Smith, America’s national treasure, turns the big 5-0. In honor of his birthday, Smith is conquering his fears and bungee jumping out of a helicopter over the Grand Canyon — you know, just normal people stuff. This would be pretty cool all on its own, but this weirdo bungee jump situation just got even better: Smith is live streaming the entire event on YouTube, so you’ll be able to watch him plunge into the Grand Canyon in all his Fresh Prince glory.

If you’re curious how to live stream Smith’s birthday jump — and let’s be honest, who wouldn’t be? — we’ve got you covered. Here’s how to live stream Will Smith’s Grand Canyon stunt online.

WHAT TIME IS WILL SMITH’S BUNGEE JUMP?

Smith’s stunt will begin at 6 p.m. ET/3 p.m. PT.

HOW CAN I LIVE STREAM WILL SMITH’S BIRTHDAY STUNT?

The entire event will be live streamed on Smith’s YouTube channel as part of the YouTube Original special Will Smith: The Jump. Once 3 p.m. PT hits, you can also watch the jump above.

WHY THE HECK IS WILL SMITH JUMPING OUT OF A HELICOPTER?

Will Smith is a cool guy, but he wouldn’t just jump into the Grand Canyon voluntarily (at least, we’d hope not). In March 2018, Yes Theory (a fear-conquering YouTube page) challenged Smith to bungee jump from a helicopter. Smith accepted, but only under one condition: that the stunt raises awareness and donations for an international charity, Global Citizen. With the help of the Will and Jada Smith Family Foundation, Smith is hoping to support Global Citizen’s Education Cannot Wait campaign, an initiative that provides 75 million children in crisis-affected areas around the globe with access to education.
