‘South Park’ Season Premiere: How to Watch the New Episodes

Grab your winter coat and your talking, pot-addicted towel because we’re going back down to South Park. It’s time again to be simultaneously horrified and impressed by Matt Stone and Trey Parker’s cardboard cut-out creation.

If you want to feel old, just look at how long South Park has been on the air. This year will mark the 22nd season of the Comedy Central show. The raunchy animated comedy has been on the air for over two decades, and if last season is any indication, it’s still just as barbed, cringe-worthy, and oddly hilarious as its always been. Because of the show’s notoriously strict seven-day production schedule we know relatively little about this new season of South Park other than the fact its first episode will deal with a school shooting. But we know how to stream it. Here’s your guide to watching another shocking season of the most boundary-pushing cartoon on TV.

What time is South Park on?

Try not to eat too late in case this year’s premiere is especially gross. The first episode of South Park Season 22 premieres on Comedy Central at 10/9c.

How can I watch the South Park premiere?

You’re going to need a cable log-in or at least a live TV service if you want to watch the premiere in real time. The premiere will be available on Comedy Central tonight, but you can also access it through Hulu Live, YouTube Live, and Sling TV.

Will new episodes of South Park be on Hulu?

Do you have to miss the premiere but still want to laugh? No worries. New episodes will be available on Hulu the day after they premiere on Comedy Central. That means you can stream new South Park as early as Thursday morning.

Is South Park cancelled?

Dear god, no. The #CancelSouthPark campaign is part of Season 22’s marketing for some unknown reason that will probably involve PC Principal. In 2015 the series was renewed through Season 23. It seems unlikely it’s going anywhere anytime soon.
