Is The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina connected to Sabrina the Teenage Witch?

Though both focus on the life of the sassy and confident Sabrina Spellman, they’re telling two very different stories. The original ABC sitcom followed Sabrina as she balanced teenage antics with learning witchcraft and dealing with her two zany aunts. There was a funny talking cat, and Kenan Thompson and Kel Mitchell once made an appearance. The whole show was a load of fun.

The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina is much darker. Set on the eve of Sabrina’s 16th birthday, this young lady is forced to choose between the witch world and her family or the human world and her friends. Netflix’s adaptation of the property is based on the Archie comic of the same name. Here’s hoping there’s going to be a Riverdale crossover.
