Well, here we go. After months of controversy, The Conners premieres tonight on ABC.

Back in May, ABC canceled their highly-rated sitcom after a racist tweet from Roseanne Barr. Picking up where Roseanne left off, The Conners will feature the same characters — John Goodman, Sara Gilbert, and Laurie Metcalf are all returning — and the premiere will address the sudden absence of the Conner family matriarch. Is the series worth watching? Decider’s Brett White believes so, noting in his review that “The Conners is so good it’ll make you forget about Roseanne.”
