Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy The Walking Dead. The AMC series has been a Sunday night staple for the better part of a decade. But if I could only watch one zombie show, it would be The CW’s incredibly charming iZombie.

From the mind of Veronica Mars creator Rob Thomas, the series follows the adventures of Liv Moore (Rose McIver), a zombie who uses her unique powers to help the police solve a variety of mysteries. Our own Alex Zalben calls the series a “breezy, funny, endlessly self-referential watch with a fantastic cast that provides a nice antidote to some of the more serious zombie shows out there.”

When can you expect to see Season 5 of this cult favorite? Is iZombie on Netflix? Here’s everything you need to know!

The CW renewed iZombie for a fifth and final season in May of 2018. No official release date has been announced, but the series is expected to return in early 2019. Considering that production began in August and Season 4 premiered on February 26, 2018, our best guess for the Season 5 premiere of iZombie is February of 2019.

New seasons of CW programs arrive on Netflix eight days after the season (or in iZombie’s case series) finale airs on The CW.

IS IZOMBIE ON HULU? IS IZOMBIE ON AMAZON’S PRIME VIDEO?

The series isn’t streaming on Hulu, but all four seasons of iZombie (and individual episodes) are available for purchase on Prime Video. Also, the final five episodes of Season 4 are streaming for free on The CW’s website.
