The moment Ranch fans have been waiting for has (almost) arrived: new episodes!
Ashton Kutcher, Elisha Cuthbert, Sam Elliott, and Debra Winger return for Part 6 of Netflix’s western comedy The Ranch. The newest batch of episodes are steeped in intrigue as Part 6 will not only be the first installment without Danny Masterson’s Rooster, but the forthcoming season will also introduce a new character: Dax Shepard’s Luke Matthews.

Part 6 of The Ranch (or the second half of Season 3 of The Ranch) premieres Friday, December 7 on Netflix. The season will consist of ten episodes.

Since Netflix is based out of Los Gatos, California, new episodes of The Ranch should be available to stream at 12:00 a.m. Pacific Standard Time (3:00 a.m. Eastern Standard Time). The episodes drop at the same moment worldwide, but if the clock strikes 12:00 and you don’t see Part 6 of The Ranch, give it a moment and then hit refresh.
WHAT DO WE KNOW ABOUT DAX SHEPARD’S LUKE MATTHEWS?
Ashton Kutcher’s former Punk’d co-star Dax Shepard will be joining The Ranch in the newest batch of episodes. Deadline reports that Shepard’s Luke Matthews is “a former soldier who has come to Garrison with some history concerning the Iron River Ranch.” A recurring guest star for Part 6, Shepard will reportedly appear in about half of the show’s ten-episode season.

IS ROOSTER COMING BACK TO THE RANCH IN PART 6?
Nope. In December of 2017, just as production was wrapping on Part 5 of The Ranch, Netflix fired Masterson amid reports of multiple rape allegations against the actor. It was reported that Masterson would be written out of the series and not be appearing in Part 6 of The Ranch.
