A little elf at The Late Show With Stephen Colbert came up with a Christmas special for these trying times: A Very Special Counsel Christmas.
In the animated presentation, Santa Claus is fired by President Donald Trump. The reason? He didn’t get his border wall last year. Instead, Rick, a bearded follower who “is at all our rallies,” is appointed to fill the boots.
Fortunately for Santa, he served in Vietnam with Special Counsel Robert Mueller, who vows to get his job back. And they have a special surprise tape to spring at the right moment.
