‘Southern Charm’ Star J.D. Madison Arrested For Writing Bounced Check

Southern Charm star J.D. Madison, who is best known for being Thomas Ravenel‘s friend on the hit show, was arrested yesterday for allegedly writing a bounced check.

Madison was picked up by cops Saturday in Charleston County, SC, who were following through on a warrant that was issued for the actor’s immediate arrest, according to TMZ. He has been charged with a check violation and is currently being held until authorities can obtain more details on the incident.

The stars of Southern Charm have had their share of legal troubles over the last few months. One woman filed a police report in August accusing Madison of sexual assault, claiming that the actor drugged and raped her in 2017.

His co-star, Ravenel, was also arrested in South Carolina in September for assault and battery on a woman, after she accused him of trying to rape him. After this incident, it was announced that Ravenel will not be returning for the next season of Southern Charm, and Madison’s future with the Bravo series remains unclear at this point.
