TGIF, amiright? Well, unless you’re Roger Stone. In that case, your weekend plans just hit a major speedbump what with getting arrested by the FBI and all! This massive development in special counsel Robert Mueller’s ongoing investigation into the current administration’s connection with Russia is making all the headlines this morning–and rightly so. Roger Stone is a longtime political operative who has worked on campaigns ranging from Richard Nixon to Donald Trump. He was even business partners with Paul Manafort, you know, the other high-profile guy (and one of many, many guys) that was taken into custody as part of this investigation. Stone was indicted on charges of lying to the investigation, specifically about WikiLeaks’ involvement in the 2016 presidential campaign, and also trying to obstruct the investigation.

So who is Roger Stone? Thankfully for you, 21st century content streamer, there’s a Netflix doc with the answers you need!

Released in 2017, Get Me Roger Stone is a Netflix documentary that details Stone’s career in politics culminating with the election of Trump in 2016. The film earned solid reviews (it’s 88% fresh!) and has a pretty lean runtime of 92 minutes. Just watch this doc and treat it as a “previously on” for today’s episode of IRL American Horror Story. If you have more questions about Roger Stone, thankfully Decider wrote a primer on the man back when the doc was originally released–and it has a pic of Stone’s Richard Nixon back tattoo.
