Starring and co-created by *Orange Is The New Black* star Natasha Lyonne, *Russian Doll*follows a woman who relives her death on an endless loop. The series traces Nadia (Lyonne) as she attends a party as the guest of honor and attempts to prevent her forthcoming death, but each time, her efforts are in vain: there she is again and again, getting ready for the same party with the same people with the same ending.

Hasan Minhaj on Patriot Act — ***Patriot Act with Hasan Minhaj: Volume 2***

Hasan Minhaj's critically-acclaimed weekly talk show returns this month with a new batch of episodes. In the new installment, Minhaj will continue to tackle topical issues like Affirmative Action, Amazon's dominance, and U.S.-Saudi relations (all of which were discussed in Volume 1) with his trademark dry humor. Now that it's established, you can expect bigger swings from *Patriot Act with Hasan Minhaj*, the only political show our Lea Palmieri can watch without crying.

Suburra Season 2 — ***Suburra: Season 2***

This Italian crime drama focuses on Rome's criminal underbelly, a world in which politicians, drug lords, mafia men, and even members of the Catholic Church rub elbows in an attempt to gain power. Season 2 promises even more drama, drugs, and sex, making *Suburra* absolutely ideal for a binge-watch.

One Day at a Time Season 3 — ***One Day at a Time: Season 3***

Netflix's reboot of Norman Lear's beloved sitcom has proved to be a major hit with critics and casual viewers alike. The series revolves around a Cuban-American family living in Los Angeles and their everyday problems, but the series is much more than a simple family sitcom. *One Day at a Time* focuses on family drama, yes, but it also touches upon topics like PTSD, mental illness, racism, sexual identity, and more. Plus, in Season 3, Justina Machado gets a new love interest. Who doesn't want to see that?

Jaws shark — ***Jaws***

All hail the movie that made the entire world afraid of sharks. Steven Spielberg's iconic 1975 thriller follows the terrified residents of Amity Island, a quaint New England town held captive by a bloodthirsty shark. To prevent the shark from claiming the lives of more swimmers, Roy Schneider, Richard Dreyfuss, and Robert Shaw unite to take down the beast. What follows is an epic tale of man vs. nature that ocean-lovers everywhere won't soon forget.

Hailee Steinfeld and Haley Lu Richardson in The Edge of Seventeen — ***The Edge of Seventeen***

Kelly Fremon Craig's coming-of-age dramedy deserves a prominent spot in teen move canon. Hailee Steinfeld stars as Nadine, an awkward high school girl attached at the hip with her best friend, Krista (Haley Lu Richardson). When Krista starts dating Nadine's older brother, Nadine's life is turned upside down, and she's forced to open herself up to the new experiences she's avoided for so long.

Hugh Grant and Nicholas Hoult in About a Boy — ***About a Boy***
Rotten Tomatoes Score: 93%
Starring practically all of your favorite actors (Hugh Grant, Rachel Weisz, Toni Collette, and Nicholas Hoult, just to name a few), *About a Boy* follows a commitment-phobe bachelor named Will (Grant) who takes a young boy, Marcus (Hoult), under his wing. As Will and Marcus get closer, Marcus convinces him to grow up a bit, which, in true rom-com fashion, helps him get the girl of his dreams. TBH, Rachel Weisz is the girl of our dreams, too.

Amanda Bynes and Nikki Blonsky in Hairspray — ***Hairspray***

You can't stop the motion of the ocean when it comes to streaming this musical classic. Like its predecessors, the 2007 *Hairspray* tells the story of Tracy Turnblad, an aspiring star in 1962 Baltimore. But unlike the *Hairspray*s that came before it, this remake features turns from Amanda Bynes, Zac Efron, Brittany Snow, and a bevvy of young talent, as well as an unforgettable John Travolta as Edna Turnblad.

Studio 54 documentary talking head — ***Studio 54***

This 2018 documentary traces the history of Studio 54, the iconic 1970s nightclub. Through interviews with club founder Ian Schrager, partiers, and New York celebrities, *Studio 54* recounts how the club became the epicenter of late-70s hedonism and redefined nightlife as we know it.

If this list had a Miss Congeniality award, it would go to Judd Apatow's 2005 hit comedy *The 40-Year-Old Virgin*. Steve Carell stars as Andy, a virginal electronics store employee whose friends resolve to help get him laid. This hilarious, genuinely sweet comedy launched Carell into superstardom, so if you like *The Office*, you have *The 40-Year-Old Virgin* to thank.

Jack Nicholson in As Good As It Gets — ***As Good As It Gets***

James L. Brooks' Academy Award-winning film follows a misanthropic novelist named Melvin (Jack Nicholson) who develops a close relationship with his gay neighbor (Greg Kinnear) and a local waitress (Helen Hunt). Melvin is initially resistant to their friendship, but he quickly comes around to it once he reckons with the reality of his lonely life. Nicholson and Hunt won Best Actor and Actress at the 1998 Oscars, making *As Good As It Gets* the most recent film to win both lead acting awards.

It’s time to flip over that calendar and get the hell out of January. After a seemingly never-ending month, February is finally here, and with it comes a fresh batch of movies and TV shows. This month, Netflix is delivering so many amazing titles you won’t even know where to begin (and you certainly won’t be able to count all of them). If you’re feeling a little intimidated by this mountain of great content, we’re here to help. We’ve searched through all of Netflix’s February offerings and found the top-rated titles hitting your screen this month. Happy streaming!

This February, Netflix is dishing up Oscar-worthy movies galore with hits like Jaws, As Good As It Gets, and Billy Elliot. Looking for something a bit funnier? Check out the 2007 remake of Hairspray (starring Queen Amanda Bynes), teen darling The Edge of Seventeen, and The 40-Year-Old Virgin, all of which hit Netflix this month. Going through a doc stage? Studio 54, the critically-acclaimed 2018 documentary about the infamous New York nightclub, lands on February 16.

If you’re in the mood for a longer binge-watch, Netflix has you covered, as well. In February, One Day At A Time is back for Season 3, and Italian drama Suburra returns with its second season after a year-plus hiatus. The streaming giant will also release new episodes of Patriot Act with Hasan Minhaj weekly. Most importantly, be sure not to miss Russian Doll, a new series co-created by and starring Natasha Lyonne, which debuted this past weekend to rave reviews.
