Things are getting real on The Masked Singer. Now that we officially know who The Hippo, The Pineapple, The Deer, The Poodle, The Unicorn, and now The Raven are, it’s time to examine our latest character obsession. Exactly who is The Monster?

In the first few weeks of Fox’s insane reality singing competition show we were all blindsided by big performances and big-name guesses. However, as the show has continued and some of the series’ biggest mysteries have been solved, it’s given us time to re-evaluate the characters we may have brushed aside before. This week we’re looking at you, Monster. Here’s everything we know about this blue-haired creature.

Who Is The Monster? Everything We Know About The Monster on The Masked Singer

This unknown creature has been the most honest with us about his insecurities. In his second appearance he admitted he thought he would be going home in Week 1. This star has chosen The Monster costume because “that’s what the world labeled me.” Clearly, this is a celebrity who has seen some rough times.

The Monster has also revealed that he hopped into his Cadillac and drove from the South, he likes to “keep his head in the game,” and that New York City is important to him. But the most confusing clue came in Week 6. When asked to unveil his special item, The Monster showed off a pair of headphones and said, “I make my best calls on this headset.” Hmm…

Who Is The Monster? Here’s Who the Judges Think The Monster Is on The Masked Singer

This past week, the judges started thinking he might be a comedian. David Alan Grier, Tommy Davidson, and Lil Rel Howery were all suggested as possibilities. But the revelation of the headset got at least one judge to stop thinking comedy and start thinking sports. Boxer Sugar Ray Leonard’s name was also thrown into the mix.

So Who Is The Monster on The Masked Singer? The Monster Might Be…

We feel pretty confident about this one. The Monster is T-Pain. The rapper is from Tallahassee, Florida and has struggled with image problems in his career. But most importantly The Monster sounds just like him. T-Pain is more known for autotune, but through a series of smaller performances, he showed off his naturally good voice to shocked crowds. Go listen to a clip, and tell us that doesn’t sound just like The Monster. Add in the fact that T-Pain is also a record producer, and that may explain those headphones.

Some fans are flipping through legendary sports broadcasters, and the name Corbin Bleu has popped up because of that “head in the game” comment (where our High School Musical fans at?). But we know the truth behind this furry monster: you’re T-Pain, we know you.
