Since Chilling Adventures of Sabrina launched on Netflix, fans have been asking exactly one thing: can I hang out with Aunt Zelda? If they’ve been asking for two things, though, it’s a crossover between the witchy streaming show and The CW’s Riverdale. And Easter eggs have popped up on Sabrina, but so far we haven’t seen Ms. Spellman (Kiernan Shipka) mix it up with Archie Andrews (KJ Apa) and company. But don’t worry, Archie Comics has fans covered, as Decider can exclusively reveal the publisher’s flagship title is rebranding as “Archie and Sabrina” starting with issue #705.

First teased in the relaunched “Archie #700,” and continued through “Archie #701” and “Archie #702,” Archie and Sabrina met at some point over the summer, and secretly started dating. Naturally, Betty and Veronica have launched an investigation into Archie’s new girlfriend, not realizing who she is, purely to, uh, help their friend. And by issue #705, that relationship will be out in the open, given the newly rebranded title of the book.

Written by Nick Spencer with art by Sandy Jarrell, the issue explores what happens as Archie and Sabrina’s love-life “intensifies.”

“The biggest revelation from Nick’s first arc was that Archie and Sabrina were a couple – which got everyone talking and set up a new, wholly original status quo,” Archie Comics Co-President Alex Segura told us via statement. “But how’d we get there? What are the repercussions? We’ll see that as Sandy and Nick rollout their second arc, and it made sense to have the title reflect that – showcasing two of the company’s biggest characters in one, must-read title.”

“2019 is shaping up to be a pretty great year!” Jarrell added. “As if I’m not having enough fun drawing the Riverdale gang, I get to draw Sabrina on a regular basis? What a time to be alive and drawing Archie.”

For those who haven’t been reading the title, it’s the perfect mix between the more adult leaning antics of the Riverdale gang, and the all-ages feel of Archie Comics. So there is romance, there’s mystery; but it’s still appropriate for the kid or teen in your life. For fans of the TV shows, the characters are also almost immediately recognizable, though naturally there are some variations you will only find in direct tie-in books, like “Riverdale Season 3,” which also hits stores soon.

Regardless, for fans of the TV series, this seems to be a great starting point to get into the books. And based on these exclusive covers? It’s gonna be gorgeous to look at, too. It’s not an official, on-screen crossover (we’ll leave that to your fan-edits), but it may be the next best thing.
