The day all pot aficionados spend the other 364 days joking about is finally here: 4/20. And this year it’s on a Saturday, a weekend. If there was ever a time to lounge around and watch waaaay too much TV, now would be it. But what exactly should you watch on Netflix?

Navigating the murky waters of Netflix’s library while high is the ultimate exercise in choice paralysis. Deciding the perfect Netflix show or movie is a hard enough when you’re completely sober. But choosing while high? You could easily waste half of this glorious day and most of your high flipping through random foreign titles and misleading nature documentaries that turn out to be disastrous, buzz-killing nightmares. No thanks to all of that. Thankfully, we’re here to help you out.

Whether your high watch of choice includes epic nature documentaries that will make you question how small you are or ambitious animated featurettes that will leave you cursing at your screen, we have you covered. Here are the five shows you absolutely must watch this April 20.

Are all of these series not enough for you? Not a problem. Here’s last year’s roundup of the best shows to watch on Netflix while high. Have a Hulu account? Then your options just doubled. Here are some of the absolute best cartoons you should stream while lighting up. And if you’re in the mood for something that will completely break you brain, we have you covered on that front too. Here are some of the most bonkers shows and movies to watch on the greenest of days.

There’s really only one perfect thing to watch while high: nature documentaries. But you’re an experienced cannibas connoisseur. You’ve already seen Planet Earth, Planet Earth II, Frozen Planet, Blue Planet, and Blue Planet II. You need something new.

We know what you’re thinking. Why not go with another Sir David Attenborough-narrated docuseries, Netflix’s Our Planet? Don’t do it. If you do that then you’ll be stuck in a loop of dying baby flamingos and suicidal walruses. You don’t want to go there; that’s a bad place. Instead explore National Geographic’s One Strange Rock. It pairs gorgeous visuals of the Earth and nature with awesome astronaut stories. Plus it’s narrated by Will Smith. Win, win, win.

'Love, Death, & Robots'

Adult animation was practically made for lighting up, and you can’t get more adult than this David Fincher and Tim Miller-produced series. The best part of Love, Death, & Robots isn’t its shockingly gorgeous animation or thrilling stories. For the purposes of this list, it’s the anthology nature of this series. Every episode runs between six to 20 minutes and tells a different complete story. One minute you’ll be wondering how yogurt took over the world. The next you’ll be following a cyborg fox as it takes its revenge against mankind. It’s awesome.

Sure you’re not going to love every story in this 18-episode book. But the ones you do like are probably going to break your brain.

'American Vandal'

Filled with dick and poop jokes, this Netflix original is built around silly subjects that make you giggle sober and laugh uncontrollably while high. However, it’s American Vandal‘s execution that takes it to a whole new, must-watch level. You’ll start your binge watch cracking up every time the phrase “ball hairs” is uttered, but by Episode 2 you’ll be seriously wondering who drew the dicks.

There’s another layer that makes American Vandal an extra satisfying stream if you’re lighting up with friends. More than almost any other show on television, American Vandal gets teenagers. From Dylan the dumb stoner to Kevin McClain the insufferable tea fanatic, you already know and have hard opinions about every character in this Netflix series.

'The Twilight Zone'

You are now entering a long-running staple for stoners everywhere. Welcome to The Twilight Zone.

Jordan Peele’s reboot of the beloved black-and-white sci-fi anthology series may be just a bit too jarring for a casual toking session. It’s the same reason why Black Mirror isn’t anywhere near this list. However the Rod Serling original from the 1960s is an excellent option. It’s just creepy enough to make you ask a stupid question about ghosts or aliens but it’s not scary enough to ruin your high.

You knew this was coming. You can’t have a full day of enjoying greener pastures without enjoying some sort of edibles. And no show puts you in a better mood to chow down than The Great British Baking Show.

The best part about the GBBS is that while its food is undoubtably mouth-watering, sweet treats are never the real focus of this beloved British import. It’s all about this show’s equally sweet contestants. The Great British Baking Show will leave you feeling warm and fuzzy in a way few other food shows can.
