‘My Dad Wrote a Porno’s Hosts Want Jennifer Lawrence to Star in the Worst Porno Ever

The hosts of My Dad Wrote a Porno have spilled on which Hollywood A-lister they want to lead the worst erotic film ever created. As they told Decider ahead of the premiere of the podcast’s HBO special, that star is none other than Jennifer Lawrence.

The origin story behind the hit British podcast is just as deeply unsettling (and hilarious) as its name implies. During a family gathering host Jamie Morton’s father showed his son some chapters he wrote for for a passion project. It didn’t take long for Morton to realize he wasn’t holding a sweet story about sailboats, loyal dogs, and other dad things. He was actually holding his father’s erotic musings all written under the pen name Rocky Flintstone. My Dad Wrote a Porno chronicles Morton and his co-hosts James Cooper and Alice Levine as they lovingly read through each chapter of Rocky’s Belinda Blinked, a series as horny as it is consistently wrong about the female reproductive system. It’s beautiful chaos.

And it’s all coming to HBO on May 11. The hourlong comedy special follows Morton, Cooper, and Levine as they share a “lost chapter” of the Belinda Blinked saga to a live audience. It’s a bad porno experience like you’ve never seen it before complete with charts, audience re-enactments, and so many misplaced commas.

Rocky’s ode to the fictional Belinda has led to over 150 million downloads and a premium cable special. But even in the midst of all this success Morton, Cooper, and Levine are ready to take Belinda to the next level: Hollywood, baby.

“This is a really good question because it’s the most coveted role in Hollywood,” Morton said.

“It’s going to get you an Oscar. If you’re Belinda, you’ll win an Oscar,” Cooper added.

After a moment of deliberation the trio came up with their Belinda: Oscar and three Golden Globe-winning Jennifer Lawrence. At the moment no one has spoken to Lawrence about portraying a woman whose primary characteristics are hooking up and blinking. “That doesn’t mean the whispers aren’t happening,” Levine teased.
