School’s out for summer but you know what’s in? Streaming! That’s especially the case if you’re one of the bajillion Netflix subscribers out there. If you think the streaming giant’s going to slow down its output in the summer month, you are wrong. If anything, Netflix has even bigger plans for the summer. After all, ’tis the season for blockbusters on the big screen and the small screen.
Not only are there highly anticipated follow-ups to some of Netflix’s most engrossing shows (Stranger Things, Dark), there’s a whole lot of new content coming from legit A-list Hollywood talent (Renee Zellweger, Ava DuVernay, Laura Linney and Ellen Page). With spicy new dramas (What/If!), family friendly new comedies (Mr. Iglesias!), and terrifying thrillers (Slasher!) dropping all summer long, there’s something for everyone to get excited about.
The sunshine is gonna call to you, but Netflix is really gonna tempt you to stay indoors with the AC blasting with this slate of summer programming. Looking ahead, here are the ten shows you’re going to want to plan vacations around.

And as indicated in the name, the season of stabbings take place during the summer solstice.
